Lens materials including:
Polycarbonate lenses are the most impact resistant material (shatter resistant) and most suitable for children or active adults. They provide the best eye protection of any lens and include 100% UV protection. The suggested prescription range is (0, no Rx) to -0.00 – -3.00 +0.00 – +2.00 sphere and 0 to -2.0 astigmatism.
These 3 points we need to know to make the lenses:
1). Diopter: left = (-2.00), right = (-2.00) ——- this is an example for your reference.
2). For PD: (pupil distance, the distance from the centre of left eye to the centre of right eye)
3). Astigmatism: If your eye have astigmatism, please provide the power of astigmatism and axis. Right Eye CYL and AXIS; Left Eye CYL and AXIS
How to read your prescription (Rx)?
Your prescription provides us with your doctor’s recommendation for clear and comfortable vision. When ordering prescription eyeglasses online, be sure your eye doctor writes your Pupillary Distance (PD) measurement on your prescription. This ensures the optical center of your lenses will be exactly in front of your pupils.
